TY WILSON
Hey, everyone! My name is Ty Wilson and I am 15 years old. I am born and raised in North Carolina. I am currently a rising sophomore at Granville Early College High School. I love to bake, cook, draw, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE! I can do anything with a dash of determination, a pinch of open mindedness and, most of all, a hint of passion.
SAGE GARVER
Hi, I'm Sage! I am an upcoming sophomore. I love to travel and be immersed in different cultures. Before the pandemic, I played tennis and skied in the winter, but now I am usually sailing or hanging out with my family and friends. I have a passion for helping others and my community. This passion is what lead me to do the GLA program and this project.
KATIE KARA'A
Hi! I'm a rising junior from Massachusetts, and I'm passionate about creating change and helping others. I lead my school's Social Justice Alliance, work with a youth-led political activism group, and am part of a program of high school students who teach health to other students. I also row on the crew team at my school! In my free time, I like to bake.
ABBY WILLIAMS
Hi I'm Abby! I live in the Chicago suburbs and will be a senior in High School. Like my other Interns, I'm passionate about creating a sustainable future for the world. Some of my hobbies include volunteering, running, hiking, thrift shopping, and sewing! When I'm older I want to have a life full of travel and adventure!
CHARLOTTE KEARNS
Hi, I'm Charlotte Kearns! I am a rising junior from San Fransisco, California. I attend a performing arts boarding school in Michigan where I major in Theatre Design and Performance. I am especially intrigued by the arts' potential to make radical changes in our world. I am also passionate about educational outreach and helping students from low-income communities been given equitable opportunities to break the cycle of poverty and greatly increase their chance for success in school, life, and career.
